I didn't start in tech. I started behind a front desk — taking orders, designing them in CorelDRAW, and keeping a retail branch running. Over nine years I went from clerk to branch manager, owning the operations, the staff, the P&L and the in-store IT for the whole branch.
That gave me something most developers never get: I learned how a business actually works from the inside before I ever wrote production code. So when I taught myself to build, I wasn't just learning to code — I was learning to solve the problems I'd spent years living with.
Today I run Inka-Tech Solutions, building mobile apps, AI products and web platforms for everyday people and growing South African businesses. Real products, shipped to real users — not demos.
