Getting a file off someone's phone is painful
Every option has friction. Inka Drop has none.
Scan. Send. Done.
Scan the code
Open Inka Drop on the receiving device — it shows a QR and a short code. The sender scans it with their camera; the link just opens. No app, no pairing.
Pick files — or paste text
Photos, PDFs, Word, Excel, video — anything, any size, one file or a whole batch. You can also send plain text: a link, an address, a Wi-Fi password or a long code, copied in one tap at the other end.
It arrives & prints
The files stream device-to-device, encrypted, and can auto-print on the spot. Perfect for a busy front desk.

Questions, answered
Do both people need the same Wi-Fi?+
No. Each device stays on its own connection — one can be on mobile data and the other on Wi-Fi. Nothing about your network is shared.
Does it work between iPhone and Android?+
Yes. Inka Drop runs in the browser, so it works across iPhone, Android and PC in any combination — no AirDrop lock-in.
Is it private?+
Yes. Files transfer directly between the two devices over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection and are never stored on our servers.
Can I send text and links, not just files?+
Yes. Alongside files there is a text box — paste a link, an address, a Wi-Fi password or a long code and it appears on the other device with a Copy button. Links get an Open button too. Text does not count against the free daily file limit.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. It runs in the browser. You can optionally add it to your home screen so it opens like a normal app.
Start receiving in seconds
Open it on your PC, show the code, and let anyone send you files — instantly. Free to try.
